1. Can I wash the blanket in the washing machine?
Yes, the blanket is fully machine-washable. To keep it fluffy for a long time, wash it on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 °C.
2. Does the color or glow effect fade when washed?
No, the colors are very durable with this material (polyester flannel). The glow effect doesn't "wash off" either. It can only be damaged by extreme heat (over 40 °C) or harsh chemicals.
3. Which detergent should I use?
A mild detergent for delicates is ideal.
Important:
Don't use bleach, and avoid fabric softener if possible. Fabric softener leaves a film over the fibers that can prevent the glow particles from absorbing light properly.
4. Can the blanket go in the dryer?
Air-drying is best – thanks to the material, it dries very quickly. If you do use a dryer, set it to the lowest setting (cool air or delicate). Too much heat damages the fine fibers and the glow.
5. The blanket doesn't glow as strongly anymore – what can I do?
The blanket needs to be "recharged." Just place it in a brightly lit room or under a lamp for about 20–30 minutes. The brighter the light source, the more intensely it will glow afterward in the dark.
6. Do I need to iron the blanket?
No. Please never iron the blanket. The heat from the iron would immediately damage the synthetic fibers and the glow coating.
